What the series covers
Physical science starts with energy. Energy Transfer follows energy carried by light, heat, sound and electric current, Motion & Collisions links speed to energy of motion and shows energy passing between objects in a collision, and Energy Conversions designs, tests and improves devices that change energy from one form to another.
Waves and light come next. Wave Properties measures amplitude and wavelength, Light & Reflection models how reflected light reaches the eye, and Light & Sound Signals uses patterns of flashes and taps to send a message.
Life science looks inside and outside living things: Structures & Functions shows how plant and animal parts help them survive, and Animal Senses follows how animals take in clues and respond. Earth science ends the series with Weathering & Erosion and Earthquakes & Volcanoes.
How every pack works
Each pack follows the same three steps. Learn cards are silent animations, one idea per card, with the key science words on screen. Review asks questions with feedback and brings back ideas a student missed. Mastery checks what each student can do on their own.
Because the cards have no audio, they work on a classroom screen for whole-class teaching or on student devices during quiet practice. Students open a pack from a link or QR code their teacher shares. When a student finishes, they can print a certificate or save it as a PDF.
Built for Grade 4 thinkers
Grade 4 science asks students to explain with evidence, so each pack ends by putting evidence to work: a fair test that changes one condition, a claim that matches the data, a design retested against its goal, or a model checked and repaired. Science words are taught on a Learn card before any question uses them.
Each pack lists the NGSS performance expectations it supports. The cards build understanding and practice; they work alongside, not instead of, the hands-on investigations those standards describe.
Single packs or the full bundle
Energy Transfer is free to open right away. The other nine packs each have their own unlock code, sold one at a time or together in the Grade 4 series bundle on the K12 Movie Guides store.
A good way to start is to open Energy Transfer on your classroom screen, teach one Learn card, and see how your class responds.

Questions teachers ask
Do students need accounts?
No. Students open a pack from a link or QR code. Progress is saved in the browser on that device, so students should keep the same device and browser until they finish.
Is there sound?
No. Every FireFlash card is silent, so the packs work in a quiet room or on a shared classroom screen.
Which pack is free?
Energy Transfer opens without an unlock code.
Does the series cover every Grade 4 science standard?
No single resource does that. Each pack guide lists the standards it supports, and the cards are designed to sit alongside your own investigations.
